Workers are volunteer computers (typically with powerful GPUs) that process AI generation requests for the entire AI Horde community. Anyone with a compatible GPU can run worker software to contribute processing power.

There are three types: Image workers (Dreamers) generate images, Text workers (Scribes) generate text, and Alchemy workers (Alchemists) handle image utilities like captioning and upscaling. Each worker loads one or more models, the trained AI files that determine what it can generate.

This page shows all currently online workers, their performance, loaded models, and capabilities. Workers earn kudos for their owners as a reward for volunteering.
